How it works:
Finding it hard to choose the right paint colour to tie everything in? Allow me to make a few suggestions.
Services regarding colour include:
- Complete colour scheme for starting a new decor (for one room or two adjoining rooms, ex. open living room/dining room)
- Paint colour suggestions to complement existing paint colours, bedding, drapery or furniture (for one room or two adjoining rooms)
- All general colour-related questions
You will receive:
A virtual sample board in PDF format featuring samples of my colour suggestions. I will show you the suggested colour applied to the walls of your own photo, to allow you to better imagine what it might look like. I will also include the paint product and colour codes to help you in your purchasing, along with my recommendations for finishes. You will also receive an audio file with detailed comments on how to make your project a success.
For better results:
When sending your colour question, keep in mind that the more information I have, the more accurate my specifications will be. Please provide me with as many details as possible, and be sure to include photos, as they will give me clues to your personal style.
Remember to tell me if there are certain colours you don’t wish to use!
While photos are helpful tools, the colours in a photo are not always accurate due to differences in cameras and screen settings. I’ll certainly do my best when working from only photos, but taking the time to do the following will greatly improve your colour consultation results:
- When asking for a paint colour to complement an existing one, please provide the manufacturer and the colour code of the existing paint if possible.
- If you need a paint colour to match a fabric already in your decor, include a close-up photo of the fabric (taken in natural light if possible) when you submit your question. Better yet, match the main colour of the fabric to a paint sample and tell me the colour code.
