The accessories you choose to wear with your favourite outfit are what make it a “look” and not just an outfit. They allow you add your personal touch, they “dress up” or “dress down” depending on the occasion, and they allow you to be daring in small ways. The same is true for home accessories. If you are unsure about how to arrange your accessories, or you are wondering what kind of accessories to add to your decor to achieve a certain look, The Online Designer is here to help you.
A virtual sample board summarizing ways to re-arrange your accessories in order to maximize their impact on your decor. Where possible I will make the changes right onto your photos to give you a better idea of the results. Where necessary, I will include a scale drawing based on your measurements, or photos of specific products to be used as stylistic references for your accessory research. You will also receive an audio file containing more detailed instructions on how to implement my proposed ideas.
The more information you give me, the better I am able to provide you with a detailed answer. When your questions involve re-arranging your own accessories, providing me with their dimensions is most helpful.
If you would like me to plan a grouping of wall art, please include dimensions of all the frames involved (clearly indicating both height and width). Tell me where the grouping will be placed in relation to other elements such as a console table, lamp, or fireplace. Don’t forget to include the ceiling height and width of the wall space. A photo of all the frames together, even if they are placed on the floor and propped up against the wall, is very helpful. The same information is necessary if you would like advice on organizing a tableau of objects on a shelf or mantle.
